Il Patto della Montagna

Christian, a young designer from Milan, goes to Biella to look for quality fabrics for his collections. There he discovers the story of the “Mountain Deal”, the first trade union agreement in Europe, perhaps in the world, to establish equal wages for men and women, signed during Second World War between entrepreneurs and textile workers, under the protection of partisans.

In Biella Christian meets Nino Cerruti, the world famous designer and fashion entrepreneur, whose father signed the Mountain Deal, as well as Argante, the partisan commander who witnessed the birth of the deal. Christian and Nino decide to surprise Argante with a beautiful and moving gift in recognition of that extraordinary event.
