Plot
Maria, an English journalist, is sent to Rome to investigate on some resounding events that have seen as protagonists the Roman underworld and its political-financial intrigues, particularly in relation to the unsolved case of the abduction in 1983 of 15-years-old Emanuela Orlandi, daughter of a papal legate and Vatican citizen. Starting from conversations with an Italian colleague who interviewed Sabrina Minardi, former lover of Renatino De Pedis, boss of the so-called “Banda della Magliana” murdered in 1990, Maria will investigate with tenacity and will end up approaching a shocking truth.
